2005 Schwinn Stingray Krate

Got this today from my dad's Consignment Shop "Stuff n Things". Thanks dad for the chance to grab this one. He has another one he may post on here sometime. This one needs some clean up work. It was not taken very good care of. It has rust on about all the chrome, and the gooseneck is messed up and needs to be replaced. But this will make a cool rider for now. I love the black but the Iverson may cast a HUGE shadow on this bike once it gets here!

Build off starts Aug 8th in Muscle Bike Forums

This is my build off bike start. I can not officially start until Aug. 8th. I was just seeing if the parts would all work. All I need is tires, pedals, and the guts for the head tube to hold the forks still. I am going theme the bike around the seat. I believe I am gonna name the Bike "Cold Heat" it will be all white and blue.

This bike used to belong to Kenny from the Muscle Bike Forums, now Ron that runs the Forum owns it, I hope to be buying it from him. We have a deal just about worked out, I just sent him a email asking what he would charge to paint it. Well I just got that response and I believe I will try this paint job myself, or leave it rough!

59' Schwinn Spitfire For Sale

This is one of the bikes I got from Kenny. It was all apart, so I thought it would be easier to sale if it were together. So here it is. It is missing the nut for the top of the fork and the head tube bearings. I am selling this one cheap. Just $20.00. You can see it is rough, but could be a really neat old bike! Extra Chopper Frame ideas in the works!

I am gonna use the old forks from the other Firecat once I get the new ones. I am gonna paint this bike White and baby blue to match this seat!

Did some cleaning on the Chopper wheels......

I thought the wheels were trash, but I worked on them a little yesterday and they are gonna clean up great!

1977 All Pro Murray Firecat Chopper Info

I found out by from the serial number that my chopper was made March 1977. The bike is dated 3-77, the seat is dated 3-8-77. So it is a little over a month older than me. Then I found out from a member of The Muscle Bike Forums that collects the Firecats that the All Pro Firecats are believed by him to only have been made in March of 1977. He has been researching any Firecat he comes across and he said every All Pro version he has got a date from has been March 1977. I am going to try to slowly restore this bike 100% correct. I want to take my time, if it means save money for months to buy the right tire. I am already getting the front forks and maybe the bars from Ron from the Muscle Bike Forums and maybe the reflector brackets from the member that collects these bikes. So hopfully in a couple of years this bike will be like new!
