Tavion's Bike after Paint

To bad it ran in two spots, both on the right side. I used the textured paint on the frame, and flat black on the fork, bars, chain guard, sprocket and wheels. I like it, sure wish it had not ran on me. I could sand, but I need to take it to him soon. So I guess it will be fine.

Tavion's Bike Before Paint

I bought this bike last Sat. When I got to work Keith paid me for it. I bought three and he said he did not care what it looked like. So I picked the most functional one and asked him today if he wanted me to paint it, since it was rusty and faded. He said he did not care. So check out the next post for the after pics of my one day, maybe 1 and half hour paint job

Got some paint done today!

Still need to paint the bars , the sprocket and fenders(which are not on in this picture) I just had to throw it back together to see how it was looking! I love it!

The frame is gonna be this color, gun metal loaded with glitter, the fenders and bars will be flat black and the rims are gonna be red.

Jason's Rat Rod Started 5-19-2010

Still bouncing around ideas in my head before I tear down and paint! Today I did some pre-build to see how it would look. I put these 71' Stingray bars and the headlight I got from Kenny on the bike and I lowered the seat. I tried a banana seat on it, but I did not like it! This seat is better.

70's AMF Dynamic Road Bike

Tried to take a better picture after my batteries were charged! You can't really tell, but the seat is a darker blue. I am gonna wrap the bars with that same color. Right now it has black bar tape, but it's coming loose.

Finally found me a road bike, and at a GREAT price!! I am gonna take this down to the bike shop for a good tune up! Seems decent for the age just needs a crank because one side is stripped for the pedal. Hope to be riding soon!

Info I found on my Pump

It is a Army issued pump for the WWII Jeep. There were three brands used. Mine is the Circle N. I saw on this site I am gonna show the link for the date 1942 come up often. Vintage Bicycle Pump

This thing is heavy duty and still works. I don't know much about it yet, but had to have it after I saw it! Hope to find out how old it is and if it had anything to do with the Army. It just has that look to me!*** I was told on the Muscle Bike Forums that it may be a pump used at the O'hara airport during WWII*****
